I am a huge fan of pesto - I love to add it to things like chicken and salmon… it’s got a great amount of flavor to add to your meals. I have a few brands of pesto that I’ve found and can trust the ingredients, but to be honest, it’s pretty hard to find pesto without canola oil or something else unnecessary. It’s pretty simple to make a pesto sauce, so if you’re so inclined, here’s my simple recipe for pesto!
Simple Paleo Pesto:
¾ cup Olive oil
½ cup Cashews
1.5 cup Fresh basil
1 tsp Salt
2 TB Pine nuts
Throw it all in a food processor, blend it all up, and enjoy!
